On the second day the theme will be about “REfresh” with Gal Barradas and on the third about “Restart”, with Nick Davis of Singularity University

ABES Software Conference REthink, REfresh, REstart: How to reposition business today, while creating the future it started yesterday, Monday (28/9), with the motto “REthink” and brought as keynote Thales Teixeira, founder of Decoupling.co and author of the book “Unlocking the Customer Value Chain”. With a focus on digital disruption, the executive explained the journey that leads to the changes by which consumers deal with the value chains responsible for products or services of interest and the consequences for business.

The consumer and the need for companies to understand them in order to make the digital transformation happen was the topic of the first panel discussion. For Luiz Sergio Vieira, CEO of EY Brasil, for a digital transformation and innovation to be successful, they need to be done by placing the consumer and the employee at the center. "It is essential to work on the customer experience and operationalize this within the company," he said.

The acceleration of digitalization during the pandemic was also discussed on the panel: “The transformation of others changes the market and will break your business if you don't think about it”, summarized Silvio Meira, founder and chief scientist at The Digital Strategy Company. According to him, some markets accelerated ten years during the pandemic and need to focus on strategy, metrics and aspirations to take advantage of new skills and not just acquire new technologies.

Agenor Leão, VP of business at Natura & Co in Latin America, explained that e-commerce and the digitalization of the work of consultants and resellers of the company worked for a long time as a way of operating the organization was what put the company in the spotlight during the pandemic. "Looking at the journey of the consultant and the consumer, we arrived at the time of the pandemic with models of work already established and prepared for the acceleration generated at this moment," he explained.
