ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies will be present at Futurecom Digital Week, the main technology and telecommunications event in Latin America, which takes place from October 26 to 30. The edition, held for the first time entirely online, will include the participation of Jamile Sabatini Marques, director of innovation and promotion of the entity, and executives from Ericsson, IBM, CommScope, Equinix, ABDI, FNQ, Novelis and Termomecânica in the MeetUp “ Promoting maturity for Industry 4.0: Towards the smart factory ”, which takes place on the 28th, at 4:30 pm.

Addressing topics on the market, evolution of the IoT, equipment and mobility, the spokeswoman will explore productivity and technological security. While the IT sector grew 5% in the world in 2019, the market in Brazil increased 10.5% in the same period and reached R ﹩ 161.7 billion (US ﹩ 44.3 billion), considering the software, services, hardware markets and also the segment's exports. These data, pointed out by the study “Brazilian Software Market - Panorama and Trend 2020” , published by ABES and IDC, will be present at the event and also shows that Brazil represents 1.8% of the global IT market and 40.7% of the Latin American market. Investments in this segment were in the order of 2.3% of GDP.

“This virtual meeting will bring together executives to discuss the future of the industry and we know the importance of people in this process, since we are in the age of knowledge. Understanding people as consumers as well and how buying processes happen. With that, I will present data on the world software market to analyze panoramas and trends of digital transformation ”, explains Jamile.
