São Paulo, July 20, 2020 - ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies, facing the purpose of contributing to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, closed a partnership with the Meu Futuro Digital movement, an ecosystem that aims to accelerate society initiatives that connect young people, institutions education companies and companies in the Information Technology sector. The agreement between the institutions aims to expand the use of technological resources in business and to promote education for professionals in the sector.
ABES believes that one of the ways to fulfill its purpose is to support initiatives that encourage entrepreneurship in the country and an opportunity for talents in the technology segment. "This sector grows more than 9% per year in Brazil. This data reveals how we need to prepare and qualify professionals to meet market expectations. We believe that the partnership with Meu Futuro Digital will further strengthen entrepreneurship in the technology area, attracting and training young professionals and contributing to the digital growth of Brazil ", explains ABES president, Rodolfo Fücher.
ABES 'newest partner aims to highlight new talents and contribute to the strengthening of the sector. "Our focus is to make society aware of the importance of exponentially accelerating education and employability in IT. In this way, we will strengthen the sector, bring opportunities to young people and contribute to the country's sustainable economic growth", adds Rubem Duek, CEO and Co-Founder of My Digital Future.
With the partnership, ABES will make services and support available to the NGO's initiatives, with the objective of strengthening and expanding the qualification and hiring of young and adult labor in the technology sector in Brazil.
