Objective is to meet the complex challenges of the oil and gas sector, combining expertise to use digital twin and create added value in offering solutions

Doris Group, a global engineering project management company, Schneider Electric, a global benchmark in digital transformation for energy management and automation, and Aveva, a global benchmark in software for engineering and industry, are developing a strategic partnership to provide technology digital twin for the oil and gas markets. These solutions will support the goals of organizations in this segment, in order to improve asset performance, increase sustainability and maximize the return on capital on projects.

The three companies will combine their offerings to provide engineering resources, asset lifecycle software solution and digital expertise to create a digital twin that will act as a backbone in performance improvement for the mining industry. The new solution:

  • It will bring new assets to be more agile and faster through the use of software in the cloud that improves collaboration and increases engineering efficiency
  • It will provide greater security, providing more positive business results
  • Improve tracking through a single point of accountability
  • It will allow remote operations and the certainty of production through a fully functional digital twin that mirrors all aspects of the operating asset

Partnership to create unique offer

The oil and gas sector is under considerable pressure to quantify, track and reduce CO2 emissions, as well as pollution as a whole. The answer to this demand can be even more difficult with limited monitoring, without method and with decision making without data. Together, Doris, Aveva and Schneider Electric will offer a structured, collaborative and digital solution that will help oil and gas operators to deal with many of these challenges.

"Doris Group is very pleased to enter into a strategic partnership with Schneider Electric and Aveva in this unique venture, which will allow us to accelerate the construction of our digital transformation strategy", says Christophe Debouvry, CEO of Doris Group. "Combining our knowledge will allow a joint offer, so that our customers embark on their digital transformation journey with optimized solutions."

“A number of leaders are driving the next wave of transformation and moving fast, which is why we’re making this partnership with Schneider Electric and Doris Group so timely,” says Craig Hayman, Aveva’s CEO. “Our common goal is to support organizations on their digital journey, especially in today's environment, helping them to accelerate the use of digital technology and work for a more sustainable future.”

“Our goal is to support customers looking to adopt a digital twin model. By offering our expertise, we facilitate access to total digital transformation for our customers, enabling them to improve product life cycle performance with safer and more sustainable operations, ”says Christopher Dartnell, president of oil and gas and petrochemicals at Schneider Electric.
