The title reminds me of the phrase: "Change, but start slowly, because direction is more important than speed".

So, I face the phrase by Edson Marques: what good is it to be a Formula 1 champion and win a wonderful funeral, to die of recklessness on a ski slope. Life is important, it is important to turn in all curves, like the 495 curves of the old road in Campos do Jordão, and get out of them alive!

That advances speed and pass straight in the curve. This is also true in professional life. How many wills to accelerate are frustrated, given the need to slow down so that everyone can walk together. So is our business. Those who wanted to be quick, beyond reason, often lost their bearings. Getting married soon, having a baby soon, finding a job soon, with a higher salary. Change jobs soon, have a better car than the neighbor's soon, be a member of the best club soon, buy all designer clothes, soon. Soon, soon. Soon! Soon, you will be eating grass by the roots. Yes, because the competition that the media and professional life demand of us, makes us want to do everything at once, and in an hour the pipe will burst! Yes, the pipe, because that is what the pressure for excess water does with the pipes. It seems that only with life experience do we learn this.

I think part of the answer is: because we exceed one (or some) of our limits, it is precisely at this moment that we expose ourselves and enter unknown territory. Or, when we are not in control and it is precisely at this time, that we run the risk of making mistakes or losing all control of our businesses and our lives.

On the other hand, if there was no time:

• Time would be meaningless, much less the worry of wasting time !!!

With that I could waste it, that no harmful consequences would happen. It occurs to me that this condition could lead to unprecedented boredom !!!

• Death would never occur, so I can do anything I want, calmly, as I am not at risk of dying !!!! Run, fly, jump, there would be no limits !!!!

So, as the scarcity of resources in our company tends to challenge us to be better and to overcome ourselves, I believe that life without risks and time without limits would tend to make us worse people ...
So, the best thing is to be balanced in everything we do. Not so much to heaven, not so much to earth.
I know people who fight with everyone, manage by conflict and cause chaos in the company.

I know people who don't fight with anyone and say amen to everything! They cause the death of the company.

Therefore, the concept of existing and living as a function of time covers a huge range of things, if we do not see:

There is the WIND because I feel it touching my skin, but the wind does not live. There is the LIGHT that illuminates and gives us heat, but the LIGHT does not live. There is the RAIN, but the rain does not live. There is the SOUND, but the sound does not live, those who pass through this World only existing TO COMPETE, can be compared to LIGHT, SOUND, RAIN or WIND, those who live participate, interact, build, modify, change paths, recover, feel and if they make themselves felt, they are afraid but they are inspired and act, they are courageous but they are, careful without failing to accomplish.

Life is relationship, contact, communication, exchange, "feeling", the ability to be, be and interact with the environment, changing it or not, all at its TIME.

How good it would be if we could spend one day a week, without a cell phone, without wearing designer clothes, without competing with the world, in any corner, thinking and rethinking our actions, our day to day, our life and our time, without losing the course.

There are the wind, the rain, the light, the shadows, the sound and the moon, but there is no LIFE there. LIFE is within us.

Let's run less and walk more. Let's sleep less and dream more. We will die less and LIVE more ...
