In a meeting held on 08/22, ABES and its associates made official the creation of the Digital Technology Committee, and chose Onivaldo Roncatti, a businessman with solid and long experience in the ICT sector, to be the coordinator of the work. It will have the support of specialists Lauro de Lauro (SaaS), Werter Padilha (IoT) and Roberto Gallo (Information Security and Cyber Defense).

Enthusiastic about the mission, Roncatti points out that the ABES Digital Technology Committee “will dedicate itself to studying and discussing strategic and executive solutions regarding public policies, trends, studies, legislation, national and international partnerships, which represent opportunities and challenges for the ICT sector. Our main objective will be to assist associates with information and guidance in the tireless pursuit of innovation for all and the growth of the market ". Among the strategic themes are the National IoT Plan, the Brazilian Digital Transformation Strategy and the debates around the Artificial Intelligence and Information Security.
Roncatti and Carolina Marzano, advisor to the committees, warn that the next meeting is already scheduled for 9/12, when a schedule of activities will be defined. All members are already invited to this meeting. More information about the committee can be obtained from carol.marzano@abes.org.br.
