Experts will discuss the advantages of blockchain and the challenges to overcome next August 12th

São Paulo, August 10, 2020 - ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies promotes debate on blockchain in yet another webinar in the "Novos Tempos" series. On August 12, at 2:30 pm, experts will talk about how this technology looks in the current scenario. "Blockchain is currently more than a fashion term in the world of information and communication technology. Despite having started associated with the bitcoin cryptocurrency, this technology has taken on a life of its own and has been used to ensure authenticity, integrity and security a different types of transactions. Its use has several applications, but it is still necessary to debate and understand the advantages and challenges that this technology still needs to overcome ", explains Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES.

To debate this topic, ABES invited the lawyer and professor of the MBA in Blockchain Technologies at Fiap, Emília Campos. Also attending are Blockchain developer, Solange Gueiros, ABCripto's executive director, Safiri Felix, Agryo's co-founder and chief operating officer, Leisy Teixeira, and the co-founder, curator and facilitator of the Moviments Project, Thiago Padovan. The webinar will be mediated by the journalist and IT and telecom specialist, Solange Calvo.

"We are going to debate about the current uses of technology and its untapped potential, in addition to Bitcoin, where it is proven to be a success already", mentions Emília Campos.

Emilia Campos - Lawyer, partner of Malgueiro Campos Advocacia, Professor of MBA in Blockchain Technologies at Fiap, author of the book Criptomoedas e Blockchain, Direito no Mundo Digital, presents the channel Descomplicando o Direito on Youtube.

Thiago Padovan - Co-founder, Curator and Facilitator in the Movements Project, an initiative to create innovation ecosystems in organizations through the Meta Design approach and is the Coordinator and Invited Instructor of the Innovation and Co-Creation Module in the competitive Master of Management at FGV. In addition, he is a co-founder of the Blockchain Academy, a cryptocurrency and blockchain education and consultancy initiative where he worked for three and a half years, from the process of structuring, managing and investing.
